Transformation Workshop Announcement
TMS is incredibly excited to announce that this Thursday 16th January, founder Steven Brewer will be delivering a presentation at the 2-Day Transformation & Value Innovation Workshop in Denver, Colorado. Steve will be live-streaming attendees from his office in York, to discuss the TMS software as used for a previous project he completed; the bEV Global Automative Dashboard.
The dashboard was created using a Twitter collector, to build a relevant and searchable database, with filters of 71 key terms about relevant vehicles, and mentions of over 250 car companies, including parts suppliers. The tweets were then processed and placed on an ergonomic dashboard, which allows easy navigation across various charts, graphs and tables to refine and search conversations across Twitter regarding the industry and battery electric vehicles. The project is an extremely useful tool to an international audience, as it can be used for market research and analysis, to understand popularity and see the latest news within the industry.
By using the dashboard, viewers are able to see the data on a broad scale, such as the US domination of the industry, followed by UK and India, and leading companies like Tesla. However, one can also ‘zoom-in’, using a key word search or various filters, including domains, tags and hashtags in order to find specifically what they are searching for. From there, one is also able to view every element of each tweet; user name, bio, location etc. The TMS bEV Global Automotive Dashboard is a brilliant tool, and also a fantastic example of the power of text mining.
The workshop where Steve will be presenting this project will focus on the Global Auto Industry, and will be attended by company representatives such as directors, managers and project leaders, “C” level executives, business owners, and leaders and decision makers in all functional areas. The workshop aims to inform attendees on the important of aspects of Transformation Axes, the process, the industry, and how to monitor and track changes.
TMS is so excited for Steve’s involvement, and wish him the best of luck tomorrow!
